Eileen Snow Price is the Founder and Executive Director of In the City Camp.
As a former JCC day camper and Camp Barney Medintz camper and counselor, Eileen understands first-hand the positive impact a Jewish camping experience has on a child. When she was unable to find a Jewish day camp that provided the experience she wanted for her kids and got tired of spending her summer driving them across town, she decided to create a camp for all the Atlanta Jewish families who were in the same boat.
So in 2012, Eileen founded In the City Camp.
In its first year, camp served 65 children. Camp now provides a fun, safe, Jewish summer camp experience for 140 Jewish kids each week! During the summer of 2016, 440 unique kids attended In the City Camp during its eight-week run. Since most kids attend for multiple weeks, camp provided nearly 1200 weeks of summer fun!
Following graduation from Emory University and prior to founding In the City Camp, Eileen consulted with non-profit organizations to help them operate efficiently and raise money strategically. She also streamlined Jewish programming across several organizations as a program manager with the Marcus Foundation and advised private foundations as an endowment associate with the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.
Eileen is a native of Atlanta and lives intown with her husband and four children. She is most passionate about the Atlanta Jewish community, Israel, and her family.
