In the City Camp's Kid Camp is tailor-made for campers entering Kindergarten through 5th grades. Campers spend their days with kids of similar ages (K/1, 2/3, 4/5 grades) for maximum summer fun. Small groups (10-12 campers, 2 counselors) and a maximum of 120 young campers per week allow our littlest campers to receive the individualized attention and supervision they need. Safety is our number-one priority.
Kid Camp Half-Day Program - Though the vast majority of our Kid campers attend a full day, some of our littlest campers (entering Kindergarten and first grade) may choose to attend our half-day program. These campers come to camp Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00am-1:00pm (includes lunchtime). Spoiler alert: in 2016 many of our half-day campers turned in to full-day campers - they didn't want to leave!
- Campers entering Kindergarten in the fall of 2017 who are not yet 5 years old are welcome to attend our half-day program.
- Campers must be 5 years old on the first day they attend our full-day program.
Kid campers decide themselves how they want to spend their days. Your child will hear each period's activity choices and select the options that allow him or her to try something new or dive deeper into an area of interest while connecting with kids who share similar passions. Your little camper can expect summer days filled with sports, music, arts & crafts, dance, sing offs, magic, and cooking.
Our activity specialists meet all of our kids at their unique ability levels to make sure they have a positive experience and feel comfortable trying new things. Our counselors get to know each child individually and form strong bonds with campers over the course of the summer.
All of our Kid campers participate in Shabbat programming, camp-wide activities, and weekly field trips!
